Details

While .223/5.56mm rifle ammo has served for over a half century, its service history has been often punctuated by an effort to replace it with a larger caliber for more knock down power at close range. One of the most recent and successful adaptations is the .300 ACC Blackout. All it requires is an upper receiver swap out, the .300 has been field proven to feed reliably even off of the standard service magazines for the 5.56, and while it has not been officially selected as a standard chamber, the civilian market has wholeheartedly embraced the caliber as an AR alternative.

This 300 BLK ammo is loaded with Barnes’ Vor TX, 120 grain poly bullet. It delivers a muzzle velocity of 2150 feet per second and 1231 foot pounds of energy. For anyone using the AR for sport hunting, this is an obvious choice for quick dropping shots in the field.

Barnes bullets has been designing projectiles since Fred Barnes began making bullets in his basement in the 1930’s. Well known in reloading communities, their Vor TX bullet has a polymer tip for consistent accuracy that expands the bullet upon impact with four sharp petals for maximum delivery of energy into the target. When loaded by Barnes themselves, these cartridges have premium powder mixes in high quality, boxer primed cases.
