Perhaps the perfect partner for your pocket pistol!

Hornady's 35 grain jacketed hollow point bullet has a muzzle velocity of 900 feet per second hitting with 63 foot pounds of energy. The eXtreme Terminal Performance (XTP) bullet bridges the gap between penetration and expansion and is therefore an ideal defense round for this caliber.

The 6.35mm, or .25 Automatic Colt Pistol cartridge, was designed by John Moses Browning in 1905 as one of the smallest centerfire cartridges available on the market. It became most popular in the following decades for being the chamber of choice for vest pistols, easily concealable for ready access as a deterrent. While the .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridge produces better ballistics at less cost, the .25 ACP is still prized by shooters because the centerfire case is a more reliable ignition system.

Hornady ammunition began in the 1940's as an ammunition jacket maker from spent rimfire cases. By the 1960's, Hornady's reputation as a manufacturer of premium hunting and defense ammunition. AS the inventor of the XTP style of bullet, Hornady is frequently a first choice of defensive pistol shooters everywhere. The .25 ACP cartridge is brass cased, but berdan primed, so it is not reloadable. None the less, the value of such a hard hitting round in such a small caliber is sufficient value enough for shooters to choose Hornady.
