Magtech - Semi Jacketed Soft Point - 240 Grain 454 Casull Ammo - 20 Rounds

Created in 1957, the .454 Casull was designed as a wildcat cartridge from a lengthened and structurally improved .45 Long Colt. For forty years it remained outside common shooting knowledge. In 1997, however, Sturm & Ruger chambered their Super Redhawk in the caliber, which was quickly followed by Taurus. Firearms chambered in Casull are also able to fire .45 LC, .45 Schofield and some are also capable of shooting .45 ACP. The round itself is used for handgun hunting or as a back up while hunting large and dangerous game. More recently a line of lever action carbines are available in the cartridge, substantially increasing the range and application of the caliber. The 240 grain semi jacketed soft point bullet by Magtech has a muzzle velocity of 1771 feet per second with 1672 foot pounds of energy. This round is made with the idea of hunting in mind, where hollow point bullets are restricted.
