Details

Originally branded FOMU as the primary ammunitions manufacturer of the Yugoslavian nation in 1923, PRVI Partizan PPU has a long tradition of proud quality. PRVI added the word Partizan to the brand after World War II when elements of the company produced bullets for the resistance. Today the company's head stamp PPU or PP is associated with established quality for both military and civilian markets. Serbian manufactured PRVI is sought after today for affordable common calibers and the more obscure rounds.

All firearms marked .38 special on up to .357 magnum can be fed this round. It is a popular choice for new shooters as well as magnum owners wanting less expensive trigger time or who find the magnum's recoil a bit ... much. This is also a popular round for new shooters. The 158 grain Lead Round Nose bullet achieves about 900 FPS and 280 foot lbs, and while lead is given to be dirtier shooting over long periods of time, the ballistic coefficients and tendency to deform on impact make this an accurate round that has slightly better defensive shooting qualities than FMJ. Boxer primed brass cases are fully reloadable providing more bang for the buck, making Partizan an ammunition manufacturer and a reliable source for another 100 years.
