Details

The smokeless powder loaded .303 British rifle round was introduced in 1891 from its own black powder round presented three years before. It remained the standard rifle and machine gun round of the British Empire and all Commonwealth troops for over sixty years, mostly for use in the Enflied series of stout battle rifles. The sheer number of surplus rifles ensures that “sporterized” versions of these rifles are in great supply throughout the world. The 150 grain soft point bullet by Partizan leaves the barrel at 2690 feet per second with 2410 foot pounds of energy. This is a good deer, or similar sized game hunting round on every continent of the globe – and is used such in what is now former components of the British Empire. It offers very good aerodynamics to, and controlled expansion within, the target, delivering its energy there rather than passing on through as mil surplus rounds may.

As military surplus supplies of .303 virtually become extinct the boxer primed, reloadable cases in this British caliber makes PRVI’s product very popular with Enfield owners everywhere. Operating as the ammunition manufacturer of Serbia, Partizan maintains a strict quality control for both its state products as well as their commercial lines.
