7.92X33 Kurz Ammo

7.92x33 Kurz ammo occupies a unique place in history as the first heavily used intermediate caliber. It was developed for the StG44 (Sturmgewehr, literally "assault rifle"), a German weapon that gave its name to an entire class of military guns. While the StG44 and its 7.93x33 ammo did not change the outcome of that war, it proved its worth in battle and became an inspiration for the Soviet 7.63x39mm cartridge and the legendary AK series of rifles.

The 7.92x33mm cartridge fires a 125 grain full metal jacket bullet at 2,250 feet per second, a bullet weight and muzzle velocity comparable to many later intermediate cartridges.

Prvi Partizan is the main source of new 7.92x33mm ammunition. Their ammo is brass-cased, non-corrosive, reloadable, and highly reliable, making it an excellent choice should a shooter come into possession of a rifle chambered in this caliber.
