Details

Since their introduction in the 1950’s, the 7.62x51 and .308 Winchester rifle rounds have experienced a global acceptance for both military and sporting purposes. Both are capable of being safely loaded and fired from the other’s chambers making mixing them of little safety concern. The difference is more readily seen in the bullet types: the NATO round is typically only loaded with full metal jacket rounds as it is designed for military use and subject to international laws governing such applications. However, it also makes for a very good range and target round as it is designed more towards accuracy long range accuracy than knock down capabilities. Such is the case with PRVI’s 145 grain FMJ bullet that has a muzzle velocity of 2838 feet per second with 2592 foot pounds of energy making it ideal for range training and even DCM style competitions.

PRVI Partizan continues much as it began in 1928, as a state manufacturer of national defense ammunition. Their commercial line for export is made to the same exacting standards of Serbia’s military, an institution steeped in pride and demands of reliable performance for national defense. Loaded with time proven bullet design, PRVI’s brass cases are boxer primed and fully reloadable for more value to shooters and collectors.
