Details

Browning’s first foray into a commercially successful, self-loading pistol caliber led him to promote simplicity over the contemporary competition. His .32 ammo is a straight case that was perfectly capable of being cycled through a simple yet robust direct blowback design, making it agreeable to many nations and their gun makers for imitation. While a great many personal defense and military sidearms were made in this caliber, modern gun designs tend to favor larger calibers thanks to new technologies in construction. Perhaps the most famous firearm in this caliber is the VZ Skorpion. Internationally it is known as the 7.65, Browning cartridge. While considered somewhat underpowered by modern standards, the caliber remains a popular choice for C&R collectors. The 72 grain, full metal jacketed bullet by Armscor has a muzzle velocity of 908 ft per sec and 130 ft lbs of energy. The 1000 round case is ideal for keeping on hand for range training and target shooting.

Based in the Philippines, the Armscor company is a world known company for manufacturing 1911 clones as well as developing its own proprietary calibers, most notably the .22 TCM. Their ammunition manufacturing facilities have been relocated to the US to answer consumer demand for dependable plinking ammunition with reloadable, brass cases.
