Details

For personal defense, the 9mm Luger remains the most popular and the most versatile cartridge in the US, if not the world. The straight walled case allows for simple and economical manufacture and reloading while delivering consistent performance. Since its introduction in 1902 thought the entirety of the 20th century, the 9mm has been challenged on numerous occasions yet remains at the top of the sport and defense shooting world. Small wonder it remains the first choice in defensive calibers. The 125 grain jacketed hollow point bullet by Corbon leaves the muzzle at 1250 feet per second with 434 foot pounds of energy. It is premium defensive cartridge.

Corbon was founded in 1982 in Sturgis, South Dakota with a mission to provide the best in self-defense ammunition. Its founding principle is that velocity is the key to getting a hollow point bullet to function as intended, even if getting clogged with extraneous material (denim or leather) before striking the target. Such interventions tended to keep other jhp bullets from expanding and as a result over penetrating. Corbon cases are reloadable but are designed for use in quickly resolving high stress situations where collecting the brass is not on the priority list.
