Details

While it was originally introduced as a military round by Georges Luger in 1902, the 9mm today has become the king of sport shooting as well. The straight walled cartridge has proven particularly reliable in firing and cycling, is well suited to different bullet designs and the easy recoil is a shoe in for comfort with shooters looking to put as many holes in paper as quickly as possible. Lead bullets particularly are well suited to this, though they are not recommended for barrels with polygonal rifling – those are specifically designed for jacketed bullets. Many if not most semi-automatic pistols still come with traditional rifling, and after-market barrels are available for many models and manufacturers that do not. Magtech’s 124 grain lead round nosed bullet leaves the muzzle at 1095 ft per sec with 339 ft lbs of energy. This is a target shooting and range training round, ideal for introduction and skills honing. The 124gr is slightly heavier than the standard 115 gr for better cycling pressure.

Magtech continues to provide an excellent training and target product at an economical price, and that goes especially with their bulk, case lot products, such as these 1000 rounds. Provided with boxer primed cases for further cost to benefit ratio, there is no reason at all to have at least one case on hand for whenever the need to stay at the top of your game arises.
