Details

The 7mm Remington Magnum was introduced in 1962 along with the model 700 bolt action rifle. It was developed from the .375 H&H Magnum necked down to .384 diameter bullet that provides a flatter trajectory and better ballistic coefficients than the .30 caliber bullets. Further, the 7mm Rem Mag has a greater versatility of loading from low, manageable recoil all the way to magnum. Sellier and Bellot’s Nosler partition maintains virtually all of its mass on contact and opening up, to insure maximum penetration into the target. The 175 grain bullet by S&B has a nominal muzzle velocity of 2860 ft per second with 3178 foot pounds of energy behind it. This is a premium hunting round designed for large game in North America.

Sellier & Bellot has a tradition of ammo making in Europe that goes back almost two hundred years. Over the last couple decades that reputation for quality and dependability has become well established in the United States as well. Sought after for making less common calibers, S&B also has a base line of reliable ammo with reloadable brass cases and a line of specialty rounds, like Nosler, that sportsmen have relied upon for years.
