Details

Introduced in 1908, John Browning’s .380 Automatic Colt Cartridge was the largest caliber that could be fired in a direct blowback designed firearm. This made firearm designs simpler and cheaper to fire in this cartridge and the result was that the .380 became one of the most worldly calibers used. Known as the 9mm short in multiple languages it was primarily a police or military sidearm in Europe as well as within European spheres of influence; the most famous of course being the Walther PPK or Beretta 1934. The 91 grain full metal jacket bullet by Tula has a muzzle velocity of 1010 feet per second and a little over 200 foot pounds of energy. These are ideal rounds for target practice or range training with your old police pistol or modern back up/carry concealed, personal defense weapon.

Tula Cartridge Works is very closely associated with the Russian arsenal outside of Moscow and provides ammunition both for commercial distribution as well as ammunition for military contracts for the Russian armed forces and for export. The berdan primed, steel cases are not reloadable, but the appeal of this product is in the economy and bulk quantities, such as this 1000 round case lot.
