Details

This 7.62x39 cartridge was almost certainly produced at the Tula Cartridge Plant in Russia, which has been in operation since the day they opened their doors in 1880. The Russian military gets their ammo from the same factory. This is steel cased ammo, which you’ll notice impacts its price tag nicely. The steel is annealed, and therefore soft enough to go gently on your rifle, and furthermore coated in Wolf’s PolyFormance to improve the reliability with which it cycles.

This round has a 124 grain projectile, a common loading for its caliber. The bullet’s full metal jacket even further improves how dependably this round feeds, and protects your rifle’s bore from leading. You won’t be handloading this Berdan primed round -- that’s the drawback to saving so much money. If you don’t mind foregoing a session at the old reloading press, though, you’ll find this ammo behaves excellently in any platform that can chamber it!
